Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SUCH AREAS OF PAKISTAN AND AZAD KASHMIR AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE, ARE: 1. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR NATURAL DISASTER THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, ITEMS, FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER, CLEAN SAFE WATER AND ASSISTANCE WITH THE PROCESS OF TESTING, DIAGNOSING, TREATING AND MANAGING HEALTH CONDITIONS. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING GRANTS AND RESOURCES TO EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES AND EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS AND ALSO BY PROMOTING EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN IN COMMUNITIES OF LOW EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT; 3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BY THE PROMOTION OF PRACTICAL MEASURES AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF PARTNERSHIPS TO REDUCE LITTER AND IMPROVE THE GENERAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE AREA. 4. THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND PROVISION OF PUBLIC AMENITIES, IN PARTICULAR PUBLIC LAVATORIES AND SHOWERING FACILITIES IN AREAS OF EXTREME POVERTY.
