THE OBJECTS OF CONGLETON PRIDE ARE TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS WELL AS PROMOTING THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION WITH REGARDS TO SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND GENDER IDENTITY THROUGH: A) EDUCATING AND ENGAGEMENT BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES, EXPLORING THE HISTORY OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY AND HELPING THE PUBLIC TO HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITY, WHILE EXPLORING THE DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIPS AND HISTORY WITHING CONGLETON’S LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY; B) CREATION OF A SAFE ENVIRONMENT- FOR MEMBERS OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY AND ALSO FOR THE COMMUNITY OF CONGLETON AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS, EARNING THE TRUST OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY BY BEING OPEN AND TRANSPARENT; C) SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.
