We produce and present professional theatre and live events at The Nutshell in Winchester. Through Discarded Nut Youth Theatre, we offer inclusive drama training and performance opportunities. We deliver high-quality productions through Discarded Nut Theatre Co., engaging professional artists and local talent. We are driven to removing financial barriers and aim to make the arts accessible to all.

Charitable objects
3.1 TO ADVANCE PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF THE PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS (INCLUDING THEATRE, MUSIC, DANCE AND VISUAL ART) BY THE PRESENTATION OF PERFORMANCES AND EXHIBITIONS. 3.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN PERFORMANCES AND WORKSHOPS TO INSPIRE AND CHALLENGE PEOPLE WITH A PASSION FOR THEATRE AT EVERY STAGE OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT. 3.3 THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE NUTSHELL TO GENERATE INCOME TO BE APPLIED TOWARDS THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS SUBJECT TO RELEVANT STATUTORY REGULATION.
