Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF PEOPLE (ESPECIALLY PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 30 YEARS) IN MID- AND SOUTH-WALES (AND PARTICULARLY THE PEOPLE OF THE HISTORIC COUNTY OF BRECKNOCKSHIRE) IN AREAS OF: (A) OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP; (B) CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT; IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY: (A) HELPING SUCH PERSONS DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES; (B) AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION; (C) PROVIDING THEIR EDUCATION, TO UNDERTAKE TRAVEL IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT EDUCATION OR TO PREPARE FOR ENTRY TO AN OCCUPATION, TRADE OR PROFESSION ON LEAVING ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT; (D) PROVIDING FUNDING, MAKING AWARDS OR MAKING GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITIES, ORGANISATIONS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS IN FURTHERANCE OF THE SAME OBJECTS. THE DEFINITION OF "MID- AND SOUTH-WALES" IS ALL THE AREAS OF WALES EXCLUDING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES OF ISLE OF ANGLESEY, GWYNEDD, CONWY, DENBIGHSHIRE, FLINTSHIRE AND WREXHAM.
