THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS DOGS AND CATS ACROSS THE KENSINGTON AREA OF LONDON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR DOGS AND CATS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE, REHOMING SUCH ANIMALS WHERE POSSIBLE AND PROVIDING EDUCATION TO OWNERS OF SUCH ANIMALS RELATING TO RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP.
