We aim to help the street dogs of Nigde in Turkey by - 1. running a neutering scheme to reduce the population of free roaming dogs. 2. to feed the street dogs in the area when possible. 3 . to provide and maintain facilities and rescue homes for the reception, care and treatment of dogs that cannot be put back onto the streets or into a Government maintained shelter

Charitable objects
FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF HOMELESS, ABANDONED AND ABUSED DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS, IN TURKEY, BY: (1) THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF RESCUE FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF DOGS THAT CANNOT SAFELY RETURN ONTO THE STREETS OR INTO A GOVERNMENT-MAINTAINED SHELTER AND WOULD BE AT RISK OF DEATH OR FURTHER HARM WITHOUT OUR INTERVENTION. (2) THE PROMOTION OF HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS. (3) THE FUNDING OF VETERINARY TREATMENT TO ANIMALS THAT NEED CARE AND ATTENTION DUE TO, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, SICKNESS, ABUSE, INJURY, AND NEGLECT AND TO PROVIDE FOOD AND RESOURCES TO FEED ANIMALS FOUND ON THE STREETS IN THE AREA’S COVERED IN THE OBJECTS. (4) THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FOSTERING PLACEMENTS LEADING TO ADOPTION WHERE APPROPRIATE, AND SUBJECT TO SCREENING TO SAFEGUARD THE ANIMALS AND ENSURE ALL PLACEMENTS MEET THE HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR ANIMAL CARE. (5) THE PROVISION OF A HUMANE METHOD OF FERAL ANIMAL CONTROL VIA A NEUTERING PROGRAMME TO REDUCE THE POPULATION OF FREE ROAMING DOGS AND FOR THE ON-GOING CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
