THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND PRESERVATION OF GOOD HEALTH AMONG SUFFERERS OF SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS (SLE), IN THE YORKSHIRE AND HUMBER AREA (HEREINAFTER CALLED 'THE AREA OF BENEFIT'), IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY (A) PROVIDING INFORMATION, ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO SUCH PEOPLE, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IF THE CONDITION. (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF ROAD SAFETY IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, BY PROVIDING INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE ON ROAD EDUCATION, WHICH IS NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED.
