Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP IN HARROGATE AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY PROVIDING COMMUNITY GROCERIES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT THROUGH THE REDUCTION OF FOOD WASTE AND ITS ADVERSE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT, BY THE COLLECTION AND REDISTRIBUTION OF SURPLUS FOOD TO COMMUNITY GROCERIES. THE CIO SHALL APPLY CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES IN THE DELIVERY OF THESE OBJECTS.
