THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1 TO RELIEVE AND ALLEVIATE THE NEEDS OF THOSE WHO ARE CARING OR WHO HAVE CARED FOR THE ELDERLY, DISABLED OR THOSE IN POOR MENTAL AND/OR PHYSICAL HEALTH BY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY): (A) PROVIDING INFORMATION, ADVICE, COACHING AND SUPPORT SERVICES; (B) PROVIDING A FORUM WHICH BRINGS TOGETHER CARERS IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THEIR NEEDS (C) RAISING AWARENESS AMONGST THE PUBLIC OF THE WORK OF UNPAID CARERS;
