TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 25 LIVING IN GREATER MANCHESTER BY PROVIDING ADVICE, ASSISTANCE, AND BY ORGANIZING AND/OR FUNDING PROGRAMMES OF MUSIC, EDUCATION AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AND BY AWARDING BURSARIES AS A MEANS OF: A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE ADULTS B) ADVANCING EDUCATION IN THE SUBJECT AREA BY DELIVERING ACTIVITIES AND PROVIDING INFORMATION WHICH WILL INCREASE PUBLIC LEARNING AND KNOWLEDGE OF THOSE YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA C) PROVIDING AND/OR FUNDING RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS
