THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1.1 THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THOSE WHO ARE EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY BY VIRTUE OF THEIR TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT OCCUPATION OF INSTITUTIONS SUCH AS CARE HOMES, RESIDENTIAL HOMES, HOSPITALS, HOSPICES OR PRISONS BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO INSTITUTIONS OR OTHER CHARITIES TO PROVIDE ARTS ACTIVITIES AND SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM APPROPRIATE IN PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
