THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (I) 1.TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF POINT AND PENPOLL, IN PARTICULAR BY MANAGING POINT QUAY AND ORCHARD AS AN OPEN SPACE AMENITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT; AND 2.TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN SAILING, ROWING OR OTHER WATER BASED ACTIVITY BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE SPORT OF SAILING, ROWING OR OTHER WATER BASED ACTIVITIES BY HOLDING AN ANNUAL REGATTA WITHIN RESTRONQUET CREEK.
