The ASQ Creative Trust exists to commission the creation, performance and recording of contemporary works for saxophone quartet. The trust also promotes music education focusing on the saxophone through workshops, classes and more. The trust has close links with the Apollo Saxophone Quartet and with leading UK composers and musicians.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE • TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS BY COMMISSIONING, PERFORMING AND RECORDING NEW WORKS FOR SAXOPHONE QUARTET OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY, FOR THE BENEFIT OF AUDIENCES IN THE UK. • TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS, CULTURE AND HERITAGE BY PERFORMING AND RECORDING 20TH AND 21ST CENTURY WORKS FOR SAXOPHONE QUARTET, OF THE HIGHEST STANDARD, FOR THE BENEFIT OF AUDIENCES IN THE UK. • TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE SAXOPHONE AS A SOLO AND AS AN ENSEMBLE INSTRUMENT BY OFFERING CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, WORK AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL AGES AND STANDARDS OF PLAYERS, IN THE UK. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
