THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE • TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS BY COMMISSIONING, PERFORMING AND RECORDING NEW WORKS FOR SAXOPHONE QUARTET OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY, FOR THE BENEFIT OF AUDIENCES IN THE UK. • TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS, CULTURE AND HERITAGE BY PERFORMING AND RECORDING 20TH AND 21ST CENTURY WORKS FOR SAXOPHONE QUARTET, OF THE HIGHEST STANDARD, FOR THE BENEFIT OF AUDIENCES IN THE UK. • TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE SAXOPHONE AS A SOLO AND AS AN ENSEMBLE INSTRUMENT BY OFFERING CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, WORK AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL AGES AND STANDARDS OF PLAYERS, IN THE UK.
