FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE MENTAL PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL WELL BEING OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE RESIDENT IN HUDDERSFIELD AND THE ADJOINING DISTRICTS ESPECIALLY OF YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE NO LONGER IN FULL TIME ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR MENTAL PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL TRAINING AND RECREATION IN SUCH MANNER AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL THINK FIT.
