Charitable objects
2.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 2.1.1 TO RELIEVE INDIVIDUALS (AND IF APPROPRIATE THEIR IMMEDIATE RELATIVES) WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF AGE, DISABILITY OR ILL-HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF 2.1.1.1 ACCOMMODATION AND ASSOCIATED FACILITIES; AND/OR 2.1.1.2 OTHER SERVICES OR ASSISTANCE, AND THE DIRECTORS SHALL TAKE ALL REASONABLE STEPS TO ENSURE THAT ALL INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN THE CHARITY'S ACCOMMODATION RECOGNISE AND RESPECT THE CHARITY'S ROMAN CATHOLIC FOUNDATION; AND 2.1.2 TO ADVANCE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE CONNECTED WITH THE CHRISTIAN, AND PARTICULARLY ROMAN CATHOLIC, RELIGION IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD AS THE DIRECTORS SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME. 2.2 NOTHING IN THESE ARTICLES SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANY STATUTORY PROVISION REGARDING THE MEANING OF THE WORD "CHARITABLE" OR THE WORDS "CHARITABLE PURPOSES" IN FORCE IN ANY PART OF THE UNITED KINGDOM.
