THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IN MALAWI, INCLUDING ITS WILDLIFE AND WILDLIFE HABITATS, BY TREE PLANTING AND FOREST PROTECTION INITIATIVES, AND BY PROVIDING COMMUNITY EDUCATION RELATING TO ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN MALAWI BY PROVIDING WORKSHOPS, SUITABLY QUALIFIED STAFF AND OTHER MATERIALS NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY.
