TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF DISABLED PEOPLE BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT, WITH A CHRISTIAN ETHOS, TO ENABLE THEM TO FULFIL THEIR FULL POTENTIAL BY: 1) DEVELOPING THEIR ABILITIES AND SKILLS 2) LIVING AS INDEPENDENT A LIFE AS THE INDIVIDUAL'S DISABILITY SHALL PERMIT THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORTING LIVING AND ACCOMMODATION AND 3) THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH INDIVIDUAL’S INDEPENDENCE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SPIRITUAL RECREATION ACTIVITIES AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008]
