THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY HOLDING AN ANNUAL SHOW DEMONSTRATING EXHIBITING AND SHOWING LIVESTOCK, MACHINERY, CRAFTS, PRODUCTS, METHODS AND PROCESSES CONNECTED WITH AGRICULTURE AND AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION WITHIN LEEK AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT. (2) TO MAKE GRANTS TO SUCH CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
