THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN LONDON AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UK AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE, THROUGH THE HOLDING OF LECTURES, WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES, PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE ISLAMIC FAITH AND MAKING GRANTS TO CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH.
