TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL HEALTH OF ADULTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN WALES, WHO HAVE HAD ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES, INCLUDING (NOT EXCLUSIVELY) EXPERIENCES CONNECTED TO ADOPTION, OR WHO MAY HAVE HAD ADVERSE EXPERIENCES RELATING TO ADOPTION LATER IN LIFE, BY: A. ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING SERVICES AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT OR THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES RELATED TO COUNSELLING; B. TRAINING PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLORS AND OTHERS WHO WORK WITH ADULTS ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY ADOPTION; C. PROVIDING ACCESS TO APPROPRIATE THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT AND SUPERVISION FOR SOCIAL WORKERS WHO WORK WITH HIGH CASE LOADS AND COMPLEX CASES.
