THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AMONGST THE HOMELESS, THOSE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS AND THOSE IN POVERTY IN SLOUGH AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY: A) PROVIDING AN OUT OF HOURS STREET KITCHEN TO PROVIDE ESSENTIAL ITEMS, SUCH AS FOOD, CLOTHING AND TOILETRIES; AND AN EMERGENCY FOOD PARCEL SERVICE FOR THOSE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE STREET KITCHEN. B) PROVIDING BICYCLES AS A MEANS OF HEALTHY ACTIVITY. C) PROVIDING A COMMUNITY HUB, TELEPHONE AND EMAIL SERVICE AS A FOCAL POINT FOR EDUCATION, WELFARE SERVICES, HEALTH AND HOUSING SERVICES, ADVOCACY AND OTHER SUPPORT TO ITS SERVICE USERS. D) COLLABORATING WITH AND BUILDING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER CHARITIES, VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY AGENCIES ESTABLISHED TO HELP THE HOMELESS, THOSE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS AND THOSE IN POVERTY TO BETTER MEET THEIR NEEDS AND IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS. E) RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT HOMELESSNESS AND POVERTY IN SLOUGH AND SURROUNDING AREAS, INCLUDING CHALLENGING STEREOTYPES AND STIGMAS, IN ORDER TO IMPROVE SERVICES AND PROVISIONS FOR THE HOMELESS AND THOSE IN POVERTY.
