BY SUCH MEANS (AND ONLY BE SUCH MEANS) AS ARE CHARITABLE IN LAW, AND FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE THE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN FAITH, IN PARTICULAR BY THE ORTHODOX COMMUNITY, OR MORE THAN ONE SUCH COMMUNITY, WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NOTHERN IRELAND OR IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND TO PROVIDE TO MEMBERS OF THE ORTHODOX CHURCH AND TO ALL MEN AND WOMEN A PLACE OR PLACES OF PRAYER AND WORSHIP IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CANONICAL PRECEPTS AND LITHURGICAL PRACTICE OF THE ORTHODOX CHURCH AND TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR QUIET RETREATS AND SPIRITUAL COUNSELING AND (TO THE EXTENT REASONABLY PRACTICABLE GIVEN THE SIZE OF THE COMMUNITY) THE PROVISION OF HOSPITALITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANCIENT ORTHODOX MONASTIC TRADITION.
