Charitable objects
1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (A) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PEOPLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) THOSE WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT HAVE ACCESS TO SUCH BY REASON OF POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES; (B) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AMONG PEOPLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM; AND (C) TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IN PARTICULAR BY PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING INITIATIVES TO MITIGATE THE DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE; IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT BY THE MAKING OF GRANTS.
