THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE VALE OF NEATH, NEATH PORT TALBOT, RHONDDA CYNON-TAF AND POWYS BY: (A) PROVIDING ESSENTIAL ITEMS, INCLUDING EQUIPMENT, CLOTHING, AND TOILETRIES, TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH NEWBORN BABIES AND ESTABLISHING A BABY BANK WHICH WILL ACT AS A DISTRIBUTION CENTRE FOR THE PROVISION OF SUCH ITEMS; (B) WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, MIDWIVES, HEALTH VISITORS, AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL GROUPS TO IDENTIFY AND SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED.
