Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Unity Centre is a cafe/charity shop offering advice/befriending/hate crime support. Activities: karaoke, arts & crafts, Bang & Crash, wellbeing and Groove. Our Unity Youth Projects department runs The Fort, a gaming hub that specialises in improving social connectivity & life/social skills, through digital/IT-based & modernised projects & activities, such as card/board/video games, D&D & VR.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: A. THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY BY THE PROVISION OF HELP AND SUPPORT FOR THEM AND FOR THEIR FAMILIES, DEPENDENTS, AND CARERS. B. TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEED THEREOF BY REASON OF LEARNING DISABILITY WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. WITH REGARD TO THE ABOVE OBJECTS, AND FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, “LEARNING DISABILITY” MEANS ANY DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY OF THE MIND AND ANY ASSOCIATED CONDITION HOWSOEVER CAUSED AND WHETHER MILD, MODERATE OR SEVERE.
