Roots is community led not for profit organisation that provide groups & services for people within & around Dawlish, Devon. Our main aim is to improve people's everyday lives through our groups, including; toddler groups involving music & crafts, bereavement support group, carer's club, baby massage classes & we also facilitate the HOPE programme supporting people with long-term health conditions

Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN TEIGNBRIDGE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING FACTORS: FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; YOUTH OR OLD AGE; ILL HEALTH (PHYSICAL OR MENTAL); LONELINESS OR SOCIAL ISOLATION. 2) TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC IN TEIGNBRIDGE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A RANGE OF SUPPORT SERVICES, RESOURCES AND SIGNPOSTING.
