THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OTHER COUNTRIES, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS, THE PROVISION OF GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING ON RELATIONSHIPS, MARRIAGE AND FAMILY LIFE, PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON THE PERSON AND LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION. (2) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF LIFE SUPPORTING GOODS AND WHERE POSSIBLE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, HEALTHCARE PROJECTS AND ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT.
