THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN MANCHESTER, AND SUCH PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH APPENDED TO THIS CONSTITUTION, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS AND PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON THE CHRISTIAN FAITH TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE FAITH.
