THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE A) TO PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN THE BUILDING PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS THE UNITED REFORMED CHAPEL HIGH STREET CASTLE CAMPS (THE “BUILDING”) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS AS AN AMENITY FOR RECREATION OR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF CASTLE CAMPS, SHUDY CAMPS, CAMPS END AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; AND (B) TO MAINTAIN ACCESS TO THE BURIAL GROUND ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO WISH TO VISIT GRAVES.
