As the world's only organisation solely focused on tobacco-free finance, we work collaboratively with finance leaders to help implement tobacco-free finance policies across investment, lending and insurance. Our flagship initiative "The Tobacco-Free Finance Pledge" was launched in 2018 and has over 215 Signatories with more than $18 trillion combined AUM.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (A) TO PREVENT AND CONTROL DISEASES CAUSED BY THE USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS ("TOBACCO DISEASES") AND SUPPORT WORK TO PREVENT TOBACCO DISEASES SO AS TO ACHIEVE A SOCIETY FREE OF TOBACCO DISEASES. (B) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY REDUCTION OF HARM CAUSED BY THE GROWTH OF TOBACCO AND THE USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS.
