THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH, IN BIRMINGHAM AND SURROUNDING AREAS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR WORSHIP AND PRAYER, RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, OUTREACH, AND PASTORAL CARE IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY 1. TO DEEPEN, WIDEN AND INTENSIFY THE CORPORATE CHRISTIAN LIFE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE CHRISTIAN CONGREGATIONS, 2. TO ENCOURAGE THE CHURCH IN ITS WORK OF EVANGELISM, 3. TO RELATE THE LIFE OF CHURCH TO EVERY ASPECT OF SOCIETY 4. TO STRENGTHEN THE SPIRITUAL AND RELIGIOUS LIFE OF INDIVIDUAL 5. TO STRENGTHEN THE CO-OPERATION BETWEEN CHRISTIAN CHURCHES
