THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE • FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF ITALIAN SETTERS IN NEED OF CARE, PROTECTION AND ATTENTION, AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO SOURCE AND VALIDATE SUITABLE RESCUE HOMES AND PLACES OF SAFETY OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RESCUE, CARE, TREATMENT AND SAFE REHOMING OF SUCH DOGS. • TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE ESPECIALLY IN RELATION TO ITALIAN SETTERS, PREVENTING CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONGST THE BREED.
