THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS AND THE EFFECTIVE USE OF CHARITABLE RESOURCES OF UNIFORMED YOUTH ORGANISATIONS IN GREATER LONDON FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TO: (A) ENABLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNIFORMED YOUTH ORGANISATIONS WITHIN GREATER LONDON TO SHARE IDEAS, INFORMATION AND RESOURCES - INCLUDING PERSONNEL AND FACILITIES - TO INCREASE THEIR INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE IMPACT. (B) ENABLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CO-OPERATION, COLLABORATION AND COMPETITION BETWEEN YOU LONDON PARTNER ORGANISATIONS AT REGIONAL, BOROUGH AND LOCAL LEVEL. (C) FACILITATE STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE POSITIVE OPPORTUNITIES UNIFORMED YOUTH ORGANISATIONS PROVIDE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN LONDON. (D) SUPPORT YOU LONDON PARTNER ORGANISATIONS TO RECRUIT AND RETAIN YOUNG PEOPLE IN GREATER LONDON. (E) SUPPORT YOU LONDON PARTNER ORGANISATIONS TO RECRUIT AND RETAIN ADULT VOLUNTEERS, WITHOUT WHICH THE ORGANISATIONS CANNOT FUNCTION, IN GREATER LONDON. "GREATER LONDON" IS DEFINED AS THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA WITHIN THE M25 MOTORWAY. "UNIFORMED YOUTH ORGANISATIONS" ARE THOSE UNITS / GROUPS WHICH ARE LOCATED WITHIN GREATER LONDON OF THE ARMY CADET FORCE, BOYS' BRIGADE AND GIRLS' ASSOCIATION, COMBINED CADET FORCE, FIRE CADETS, GIRLS' BRIGADE, GIRLGUIDING, JEWISH LADS' AND GIRLS' BRIGADE, RAF AIR CADETS, SEA CADET CORPS, SCOUTS, ST JOHN AMBULANCE CADETS AND VOLUNTEER POLICE CADETS, TOGETHER WITH ANY SUCH OTHER UNIFORMED YOUTH ORGANISATIONS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THE FUTURE CONSIDER SUITABLE FOR INCLUSION.
