FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF NEURODIVERGENT PEOPLE AND THEIR PARENTS AND CARERS IN MIDDLESBROUGH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF: A) A MENTORING AND SUPPORT SERVICE FOR NEURODIVERGENT PEOPLE TO EMPOWER THEM SO THEY CAN LEARN TO CELEBRATE THEIR DIFFERENCES, FIND FRIENDS, SOCIALISE, FIND THEIR PLACE IN SOCIETY AND LIVE A HAPPIER AND MORE FULFILLED LIFE, AND; B) EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT TO PARENTS AND CARERS EITHER ON A ONE-TO-ONE BASIS OR VIA A PARENT AND CARER SUPPORT GROUP TO HELP EMPOWER THE PARENTS AND CARERS TO NAVIGATE THEIR WAY THROUGH THE SEND SYSTEM AND TO BECOME MORE EFFECTIVE ADVOCATES FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN.
