THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN ELMBRIDGE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR SAILING, ROWING, KAYAKING, PADDLEBOARDING, CANOEING AND SUCH OTHER WATER SPORTS CAPABLE OF PROMOTING PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS. (FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE, ‘FACILITIES’ MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT, ACCESS TO COACHING AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES).
