THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO [IS][ARE] “THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THROUGHOUT ANGLICAN SCHOOLS BY:- A. PROVIDING A FELLOWSHIP AND MUTUAL SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION; B. PROVIDING A FORUM FOR DISCUSSION OF THE WORK OF ANGLICAN SCHOOLS TO RESPOND TO LOCAL AND NATIONAL ISSUES IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION; C. WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GENERAL SYNODS BOARD OF EDUCATION / THE NATIONAL SOCIETY AND DIOCESES TO SUPPORT THESE AIMS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
