THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:
THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SUCH PARTS OF LONDON AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FOOD, CLOTHING, ESSENTIAL TOILETRIES AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED.
