Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE PERFORMING ARTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THEATRE, SCREEN ACTING, AND FILMMAKING, PARTICULARLY AMONG CHILDREN, YOUNG PERSONS, AND ETHNIC MINORITIES, OR THOSE FROM DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUNDS, OR WITH DISABILITIES. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH: A) PROVIDING COMMUNITY EDUCATION IN THE FORM OF YOUTH DRAMA TRAINING PROGRAMMES, WITH A FOCUS ON, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, SERVING UNDER-25S FROM ETHNIC MINORITIES, DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUNDS, AND THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. B) ORGANISING PUBLIC PERFORMANCES, EXHIBITIONS, AND WORKSHOPS TO PROMOTE, SUSTAIN AND INCREASE INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE PERFORMING ARTS. C) OFFERING TRAINING, MENTORSHIP, AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION OF PARTICIPANTS IN THE PERFORMING ARTS, ENHANCING INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING IN THIS FIELD.
