THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS WITH MENTAL OR PHYSICAL HEALTH ISSUES LIVING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND SUPPORT THEM IN PARTICULAR BY: 1. PROVIDING AND FACILITATING OUTDOOR MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY; 2. PROVIDING AND FACILITATING ACCESS TO OUTDOOR EXERCISE AND PURPOSEFUL ENDEAVOUR IN THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT; 3. PROVIDING AND FACILITATING TRAINING FOR INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE ENGAGEMENT PROJECTS IN THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.
