THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO SHALL BE PRIMARILY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC: THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION WORLDWIDE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH APPEARING IN THE SCHEDULE, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY MEANS OF MISSIONARY AND OUTREACH WORK INCLUDING EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE STUDY OF THE BIBLE AND RELATED DISCIPLINES AND THE PROVISION OF BASIC DRINKING WATER AND MEDICAL SERVICES.
