Activities - how the charity spends its money
Jabalie is a UK charity working internationally with survivors and individuals that are at high risk of gender-based violence. We provide an education and empowerment programme to equip survivors with knowledge, skills and confidence to gain economic independence and break the cycle of abuse, in addition to training, advocacy and a community platform.

Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT UNITED NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS) FOR PEOPLE OF ALL GENDERS TO BE FREE FROM GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND ABUSE, BY: (I) RAISING AWARENESS OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND ABUSE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PHYSICAL, SEXUAL, EMOTIONAL, DOMESTIC AND ECONOMIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE AND HARMFUL PRACTICES; AND (II) RELIEVING NEED AMONG VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND TRAINING TO SURVIVORS AND INDIVIDUALS AT HIGH-RISK OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND ABUSE AND ORGANISATIONS THAT SUPPORT SURVIVORS OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND ABUSE.
