Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE AS FOLLOWS: (1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN RURAL PARTS OF AFRICA AND ASIA BY THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SCHOOLS AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT, PROVIDING VOCATIONAL LEARNING AND TRAINING AMONG CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, SCHOLARSHIPS, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND WORKSHOPS. (2) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN AFRICA AND ASIA BY PROVIDING: GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY. (3) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL NEED AND SUFFERING AMONG VICTIMS OF NATURAL OR OTHER KINDS OF DISASTER IN THE FORM OF MONEY (OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE) FOR PERSONS, BODIES, ORGANISATIONS AND/OR COUNTRIES AFFECTED.
