PROVIDING GRANTS OR BURSARIES SUPPORT FOR SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT WHICH AID PHYSICAL, COMMUNICATION AND COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT TO FAMILIES OF CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH A TREATMENT RESISTANT FORM OF EPILEPSY WHO ARE IN RECEIPT OF AND FUND FROM PERSONAL INCOME A PRIVATE PRESCRIPTION FOR CANNABIS BASED PRODUCT FOR MEDICINAL USE (CBPMS) BY A NAMED SPECIALIST CLINICIAN ON THE SPECIALIST REGISTER OF THE GENERAL MEDICAL COUNCIL AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH UK GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION, NHS AND NICE GUIDELINES. B. RAISING AWARENESS AND ADVANCING EDUCATION AMONGST THE WIDER PUBLIC, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND RELEVANT PUBLIC BODIES ON THE CONDITION OF SEVERE TREATMENT RESISTENT EPILEPSY, THE EFFECTS OF THE CONDITION ON CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, THE ADVANCED TREATMENTS OF THIS CONDITION AND THE BENEFITS OF PRESCRIPTION CBPMS IN THE TREATMENT OF SEVERE TREATMENT RESISTANT EPILEPSY.
