1) THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF RE-USE AND RECYCLING OF WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (ALSO KNOWN AS WEEE) AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS TO PREVENT SUCH WASTE GOING TO LANDFILL AND BY ADVANCING PUBLIC EDUCATION IN MATTERS RELATING TO RE-USE AND RECYCLING, IN HULL, EAST RIDING AND SURROUNDING AREAS. 2) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY MAKING DONATIONS OF SAFE AND CLEAN RECYCLED AND REUSED WEEE AND OTHER ITEMS OR GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS IN FINANCIAL NEED 3) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNIITY BY PROMOTING AWARENESS OF WASTE REDUCTION, RECYCLING, REPAIR PRACTICES AND IT TRAINING WITH THE AIM OF ENCOURING ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY, DIGITAL LITERACY AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
