THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT,: 1) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY. 2) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, AND IN PARTICULAR TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE NEEDS OF DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES AND POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS TO THOSE NEEDS, THE IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES, AND THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF RESULTS.
