THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL (PARTICULARLY AMONGST SCIENTISTS AND CLINICIANS) IN THE FIELD OF EVOLUTIONARY PSYCHIATRY AND RELATED SUBJECTS AND TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ALL ASPECTS OF EVOLUTIONARY PSYCHIATRY INCLUDING EMPIRICAL AND THEORETICAL WORK AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
