THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, ENGAGING IN INTEGRAL MISSION WITH AND THROUGH LATIN AMERICAN, SPANISH AND PORTUGUESE CHURCHES AND CHRISTIANS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BASIS OF FAITH IN PARTICULAR BY (I) PROVIDING STRATEGIC DIRECTION, DIRECT SUPPORT, MEMBER CARE, RESOURCES, TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS, LATIN LINK COUNTRY TEAMS AND PARTNER ORGANISATIONS, THEREBY STRENGTHENING AND PROMOTING THEIR WORK, (II) PROMOTING COLLABORATIVE WORKING AMONGST INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AND LATIN LINK TEAMS, AND (III) SETTING AND MAINTAINING COMMON STANDARDS ACROSS THE LATIN LINK COMMUNITY.
