THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE THE RELIGION OF ISLAM IN LONDON AND KENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING FACILITIES FOR RELIGIOUS WORSHIP, RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PRAYER MEETINGS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES, GATHERINGS, LECTURES, EVENTS AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES, IN ORDER TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE THE PRACTICE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH.
