TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT CONSISTENT WITH THE DOCTRINE SET OUT IN THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) PROVIDING EDUCATION IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION; B) THE PROVISION OF PASTORAL COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT; C) WORKING WITH OTHER BRETHREN IN CHRIST CHURCHES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND WORLD OVER BY INITIATING AND DEVELOPING PROGRAMS FOR INTER-CHURCH RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN AUTONOMOUS GENERAL CONFERENCES AND EMERGING CHURCH FELLOWSHIPS OF THE BRETHREN IN CHRIST IN THE INTERNATIONAL SETTING.
