THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROVISION OR FUNDING OF SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO REALISE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AND PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. (2) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF ADULTS WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES THAT DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES.
